There’s a huge launch going on right now for Jonathan Budd’s Unstoppable Entrepreneur… and it’s got me to thinking.

The game of Affiliate Marketing for network marketing info-products in the year 2011 has changed.

In fact, it’s completely different to what it was ten years ago.  Much different.

Back in the early days of the inter webs, if you wanted to do well in affiliate launches, you’d simply find an offer to promote… something like Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring,… and you’d drive some traffic, and hopefully make some sales. There was a lot of easy money around back then…

But now things have changed, but you have to know where to find it- it’s not so obvious.

Competition is fierce… in the home business industry alone, there’s something like 30 million distributors.

Now we are seeing more and more product launches, since product creators discovered they could have a much bigger payday when time and quantities were limited (aka scarcity).

If you get emails from any of the big time internet marketing gurus, you’re probably seeing a new product launched every week. In fact it’s worse than that- in any given week, there’s usually 3 or more!

One of the products being launched right now is by a guy named Jonathan Budd… it’s actually an event being held in San Diego in a couple months time.

I don’t put Jonathans stuff in the same category as everyone else’s… it’s usually much better, and from the email conversations we’ve had, he seems like a really cool, down to earth kinda guy.

The last 2 major launches he came out with (The MLM Launch Formula, and Get Traffic 3.0) were both products that I bought and used… and profited from in my own business.  I also promoted them as an affiliate- the first one, I made just over $1,000 – and that was when I realised that there was potentially a lot of money in affiliate marketing… and if I worked at it, maybe I could make more.

In the next one, I did around $7,600 in affiliate commissions… and the education I got from doing the product really helped my in my Facebook PPC marketing too.

I’m looking forward to the event myself- the best of the best will be there, and I think that the new relationships made will spawn millions of dollars in deals in the years to come…

… trust me on that. You’ll see the up and comers start to bring out there own products and cross promote- and when they recount their success’s, they’ll say things like “We met at Jonathan Budd’s Unstoppable Entrepreneur event back in 2011…”

But like I said before… not only am I going- but I’m also doing everything I can to promote it as an affiliate

My bonus package for it includes over $2,364.57 worth of my own products, plus, there’s some really cool fast action prizes- like a Free Ipad.  But you’ll have to be quick to get that one.

I’m doing everything I can to support it- because I believe in the lesson this seminar will teach: how to become truly unstoppable.

But to sell such products and do well (like make the top 10 affiliates worldwide) you need to be offering your own bonus package- if you’re an affiliate yourself, and you don’t have your own bonus, you’re kinda in trouble. It’s gonna be an uphill battle.

You see… consumers have wisened up. They know that money-hungry affiliates like me are out there to make commissions… and they know that ther’es a lot of competition.

So the question they are starting to ask is, “if I’m going to send you a commission, what are you going to do for me?”

And that’s why the game has changed- now it’s all about bonus’s.

Whoever has the best bonus, all other things being equal (eg. list size) will usually win the prize. They’ll usually be the ones having the big payday.

And some affiliates have taken it even further- they’ve introduced the concept of the bonus blog- a blog devoted entirely to the launch of one product, and that is only used for one launch- after that, it becomes near useless.

You see guys like Jeff Johnson offering bonus’s all the time… and that’s where I got the initial idea from.  I also noticed Tim Atkinson doing it in the Get Traffic 3.0 launch last year… and he inspired me to offer my own bonus – hence the $7,600  in commissions that week.

For Unstoppable Entrepreneur…

This is what affiliate marketing has come to. If you want to do well, you’ve really got to overdeliver on your bonus package- otherwise you won’t stand a chance against a competitior who’s hungry.
