So… it’s Friday afternoon- I’m sitting faced with a choice to make…

I was going to take this weekend easy- and not do much at all.  Maybe go see a couple of movies, like that new one that’s out- with James Franco or what’s his name…

But it looks like that won’t be happening.

Why?

Because Jonathan Budd- the soon to be number 1 guru in the online home business industry (he will overtake Mike Dillard I think, because he’s always bringing out new products, and raises the bar everytime) has just begun launching his new course- The Unstoppable Entrepreneur.

What is The Unststoppable Entrepreneur?  To be honest, I don’t know just yet… I believe it’s going to be a live event, probably near San Diego where Jonathan lives.

I’m one of Jonthans affiliates- so I’ve promoted his stuff before.  A few months back, Jonathan bought out a course called ‘Get Traffic 3.0′

I had jsut got back from an event in Las Vegas, and decided last moment I’d promote it.

Imagine my suprise when I ended up coming 10th worldwide- and even beating top 7 figure earners like Ann Sieg- you can see the competition results here- http://www.onlinemlmsecrets.com/affiliateshub/heroes/ (I wish they’d used a better photo of me…)

I made around $7,600 for a weeks work- which really suprised me, ‘cos up until that point, I’ve never thought of myself as much of a affiliate marketer (by the way… if you think that’s a lot, Mike Dillard made closer to 95K!)

So now I’m thinking… perhaps I’ll promote Unstoppable Entrepreneur and really get behind the promotion.  I had planned to send out a few emails to my list… but that was about it.

If I’m really going to do this properly, then I need to go to the event- it would not make sense for me to tell everyone to buy the thing, if I wasn’t planning on going myself.

But here’s the problem…

You’ll notice at the above link, I’m competing against some pretty good affiliates- some of these guys (and girls) are accustomed to making $20,000+ in affiliate contests like this one.

So I’m competing against the best of the best…

But I have something they don’t.

Or at least I will very soon.

You see… in order to do well in an affiliate contest like this one, you have to give people a reason to buy through your affiliate link.  10 years ago, you could something like this:

“Hey you- check this out: http://www.theunstoppableentrepreneur.com/?a=1035753”

And people would buy it- they didn’t realise the numbers and letters on the end meant someone was getting an affiliate commission out of it…and there was a lot less competition.

But nowadays… the game has completely changed.

People are smarter- they know that someone is getting a commission out of it.  So what do they do?

They go bonus shopping!

They go and look for the affiliate who’s prepared to offer the best bonus… and buy through them.  After all, they may as well get something free out of it.

So that’s what I’m going to have to do.  I need to come up with a bonus that is better than everyone else’s.

It needs to be something special… something that holds real value- not the typical bonus crap you see some affiliate marketers offering, where they have some cheap private label rights product and say it’s worth a thousand bucks.

So here’s what I’m thinking I’ll offer for my “Unstoppable Entrepreneur Bonus”

That’s a new course I’m brining out in about a week- it’s so new in fact, I haven’t even written the sales letter (another thing to add to my ‘to do’ list)

Each of those courses sell/will sell for $197.  So that’s a total of $396.

But that’s not enough… I need an Unstoppable Entrepreneur Bonus that stops people dead in their tracks… even people who have no idea who I am, and makes them say- ‘hey, I’m going to buy through Matt Lloyd, becuase his bonus looks way better than anyone else’s’

So… maybe what I’ll do, is I’ll add in a free Ipad for a couple of people who buy it first…

Maybe I’ll add in 6 months free access to my Inner Circle Gold Members Program – since members get a free $197 product every month, that would be close to $1200 in value.

Anyway, I’ll come up with something- there’s still a couple of weeks till the thing goes on sale.

So anyway… if you have any ideas for me, about how I can make my bonus better than any of the gurus, then let me know ok?

Since I’m competing against guys like Mike Dillard who have a list of easily over 100,000 people, and were doing internet marketing before I even went through puberty, I don’t know if I have much of a chance…but maybe I can make the top 5.

One things for sure… I’d sure love to beat Michael Force- especially after the email response he sent me in the last Jonathan Budd story (I will leave that out here, don’t want to be getting calls from anyone’s lawyers).

But we’ll see.
